India is an incredible country to visit. I enjoyed the sun, the traffic (!), the culture and the food. But I will never forget the people we met… their availability, their generosity and their kindness. It was an unparalleled privilege to be part of the journey. I would encourage everyone to participate!

I never would have believed that this year would be the year of my first long-haul trip, as I’m not someone particularly inclined toward adventure. The first impressions of this country were striking: the heat, the noise, the crowds, the smells, the hustle and bustle, the stray dogs… Various visits and discoveries marked our journey: social projects, majestic monuments, the Ganges, the cheeky monkeys and the unperturbed cows. Spending time with locals was truly the highlight of this trip. These moments still bring a smile to my face now, and their memories shine within me like sunshine…

Here it is! The day of departure has arrived! I’m off for a wonderful experience! I’m going to discover India, the country of which I have heard so much: the honking, the Indian driving, the rickshaws, the trash in the streets, but also the delicious food! I didn’t expect this feeling of well-being, of safety, this love for this country, for these Indians, this desire to come back!
